It is situated in a fantastic location away from the hussle'n'bussle, yet very handy to all that Anglesea and Point Roadknight has to offer. It is a great place to explore on foot. The 35km Surfcoast Walk passes through the town and you can wander in both directions, along the coast and inland up beside the Anglesea River.

Anglesea Overboard provides easy access to all attractions of the Surf Coast, including Point Addis Marine National Park and Coogoorah Park Wetlands. The local beaches are perfect for swimming, surfing and just relaxing. The 35km Surfcoast Walk passes through Anglesea, along the coast and beside the river. Anglesea is a popular coastal town at the gateway to the Great Ocean Road and eight minutes from Aireys Inlet. Have a hit of golf on the Anglesea Golf Coarse, set among beautiful native bushland, and famous for its gang of resident Kangaroos that graze blissfully unaware on the wide fairways or loll about near the greens. You don't have to be a player to enjoy the spectacle. Sightseers can get a good view of the roos and wallabies from Golf Links Road. Many of Anglesea's other treasures are also products of nature.
