How To Get There
Angelsea Victoria is on The Great Ocean Road 17 kms south west of Torquay (approx. 20 mins by car) and 30 kms north east of Lorne (approx. 35 mins by car). The nearest commercial airport is Avalon (for certain Jetstar flights) and Melbourne’s main airport Tullamarine.
Angelsea is serviced by rail (V/Line) from Melbourne's Southern Cross station (formerly known as Spencer Street Station) to Geelong, then a connecting bus through Torquay.
Most people tour The Great Ocean Road by car. If travelling from Melbourne take the freeway to Geelong then the main road (B100) to Torquay an on to Angelsea.
An attractive alternative is to drive to Sorrento and take the ferry across to Queenscliff. For timetables, costs and other details of the ferry crossing, have a look at the Queenscliff-Sorrento Car & Passenger Ferry Service website.
